dications. Corralled into a super tight small room for breakfast. I already covered the food situation earlier. Now your day begins, NO returning to your room no matter how you feel, a strong and imitating verbal and a very stern answer is given to you if you ask to return to your room. So there you sit, for the entire day, at times you are escorted to and from appointments, a visit to the Doctor. There is a self invite for a lesson or two on healthy living. Now, remember there IS NO OUTSIDE TIME! Even prisoners are allowed at least 1 hour a day outside. Lets talk recreation, a few books, soft covered, a few decks of cards, a game or two. That's it, oh there is the TV. 16 hrs of TV. There is a 2 hour rest time offered. Funny though the Doctors come, the blood man/women come, an appointment seem to happen while the rest period is allowed. Don't get me wrong, this would occur in any hospital or medical housing facility. What the difference is you MUST be up and at it from 6 AM to 8 PM no matter how you feel. Does that sound like a healing environment to you? Also remember the Female vets they have it worse, they too are roused up at 6 AM and have the same rules. But they are SQUEEEEEZED together in a SMAAAALLL area smaller than the average living room. But what the heck, IT'S ONLY VETERANS WE ARE TALKING ABOUT. Please share if you like,I hope someday, someone will listen and do something about this mentality.
